I've been working on this iconset for a while - Taran and Eilonwy, separate and together. Images drawn from everything and anything: classical art, Victorian fairy tale illustrations, stock photos, random google image searches.

Oh, so beautiful. And you used the cover of Zel, too! Definitely using a couple of these, not sure what yet.

I did use Zel, because I've always loved the cover art - not to mention the book! - and because it's always looked like Eilonwy to me.

I never thought about that, but it really is true. Zel herself isn't much like Eilonwy, I think (they're both lovely characters in entirely different ways!), but the picture is rather like her.
