Oh my ever effing God, I can't breathe. Kripke has killed me ded, I tell you!

I love that while this show can't quite keep its mytharc going smooth, it keeps the real-world plotline tight, tight, tight. Doesn't let them get away with anything. And this line with the law is coming in to a chokehold. They're going to have a hard time slipping away from this, I think.

Bonnie to your Clyde. Yay! Sammy always gets to be the girl, hee. And boys in suits and uniforms omg with the hotness.

and Ron, poor Ron who was cute and all with the mandroids and the tabloids, the crazy Winchester double who was just living a normal life until the supernatural busted in to it and killed someone he cared for. Who can't just stand by and let the bad things come, but who has no idea how to go about doing it. John's military background was good for one thing I guess. He and the boys mught not have lasted long without it. Sammy didn't save him, either. Poor boy.

And competent!boys who kill the monster and also can apparenty take out vast chunks of SWAT teams and leave them tied up in their underwear. Good to have you back. :) I love it so much when they are with the kicking ass.

The Styx at the end was beautiful, gorgeus, evocative, perfect. The melancholy powerful vocal harmony, the relentlessness of that beat, just right. Not offering any resolution, any safety.

I feel like it's not a coincidence that Dean is the one the police think is the Big Bad. There's been a lot in this season with his moral ambiguity--my heart just about stopped when he was going to stab the sweet passed out girl. He's been killing so that Sam doesn't have to, killing innocents and the helpless. He was effing scary in Croatoan. Sam is lost in freaking out over going darkside, so Dean is going there for him. Because he feels like it's got to be done. Some things need killing, but Sam needs to not kill. Ergo, Dean kills. and when the FBI dude calls him a monster, that's resonant. Not that he is, but that they're both so focussed on the state of Sam's soul that Dean's Big Bad routine is slipping through the cracks of their attention.

And angels. Oh my god angels. Sera Gamble got her wish--we're going to go there. I can't wait. Maybe some answers? Angels are supposed to give you answers, right?
