Got the call today: no chance for dad to live off vent. Little chance of survival at all. His wishes are clear & the decision was clear. We will wait for organ donation matches to reach the right timing and then turn off the machines. The docs say it will likely be seconds, after that. Likely tomorrow, maybe Sunday.

Everything very fictional at the moment.
