fuuuuuuu ... I just had to restart by browser, and all my AO3 tabs reloaded in the new skins system, which makes everything look horrible and all my serifs have fallen off and I don't understand what it wants me to do - and I just wanna read some fiiiiiiic. Phooey.

Sympathy! I think I am the only person who liked the original scheme and it keeps getting further away from it.

Anyway, try My Home, Skins, Public Skins. Archive 1.0 is right down the bottom of that list (it's long) or you might find something else. The previews come up quickly.

Thank you for the suggests of "One Point Faux". It's helpful, though the margins are still changed enough to throw me off.

I don't know CSS at all... is there away to narrow the margins to what they used to be?

works for me, though you can change the 3% and 2.5em to what you want.

There's one skin at the top of the public skins list that looks a lot like the original to me, at least eyeballing it, if you want to go back further than One Point Faux.

... I kinda like it. Although I did use Firefox's Stylish add-on (as I do with most sites on the web) to reset the fonts to ones I prefer.
