Nov. 17th, 2010 05:43 pmAaand break. The only thing I've got to do for the next week and a half is teach one class on Friday - and I think I'mma just make them workshop. Or, that would be all if I didn't have term papers. Not that I need to write them all now, but I probably will, because I'm neurotic and control-freaky like that.
I watched a thing!
aaaand we have backstory! Does this mean that Trick is Oberon? It fits w/the dwarf gig, folklorically speaking. If so, show's totally stealing from Zelazny, but I like the lost!Oberon trope enough to be happy about going there again.
I love Bo and Kenzi like fire, I'm becoming increasingly tolerant of Dyson, and I am so so so happy that we finally got some ritual magic up in this shiz! Now we just need to hook up the ritual magic and the sex magic ...
I wish the ugly troll hadn't been a poc. Anyway.
But I am really into the way that fae culture is opening up, becoming more coherent and unified. They have traditions! And customs! And I loooove the weirdness you get when your legendary figures don't actually die.
