Feb. 4th, 2022 11:57 pmIt's really been too cold and windy to be outside much, so I've been keeping active with this Absolute Beginner Ballet tutorial set on YouTube. I've been going slow-and-steady, getting proficient with each lesson before I move on to the next. It's been a few weeks, and I'm solidly into the third lesson. The encouragement and steady pace of the videos are really nice.
I'd been having leg pain on the left side for a while, an anxious symptom I think, and all the different stretches and muscle-building are really good for that issue; maybe a lot better, really, than my usual stubborn long walks. Though I'm sure that once the weather changes I'll be back outside.
I miss the sense that I could opt to go to a community contra dance if I wanted to.
