Everything I've read keeps talking about Alpha as the "alpha male," as a personification of the masculine destructive, as testosterone run rampant. And I just - man, you guys, I'm having trouble seeing Alan Tudyk as any sort of ubermensch.

I mean, yeah okay maybe he's going to play against type, but right now I just keep having recollections of Wash trying to be butch in "War Stories" and then I end up sporfling.

I really like the alpha male theory, but I just can't see adorkable little Alan Tudyk being the big bad butch guy! I mean, in a way it would be kind of totally cool, if they could pull off that dramatic of a confounding of our expectations.

But then I start hearing "Mine is an evil laugh!" playing on loop in my brain, and oh it is to snerk.
