Oh show, you came back.
Did astronomical amounts of work today--I've made it to that part of the term where text becomes totally meaningless babble. Which is fun, because text is all I have. But one paper finished to be turned in tomorrow, so that's gotta be something. I spent all morning crying over Mary Shelley's journals, the part where Percy dies and it reads like a novel but you know it was real and that makes it so much sadder.
And! Show!
So in love with the title right now, possibly because I've been reading Didion's "Slouching Towards Babylon" and the string of quote-references in my head is getting ridiculous.
OMG Gilmore Girls! I can't believe it went there, but am so happy that it did.
In a way, I like that Sam's way of grieving for Madison takes the same form as his grief for Jess--renewed dedication to the hunt. but I wouldn't have minded a little more emo. especially not with hugging.
Was also a bit taken aback by the fact that they let Walter get whomped. Yeah, his own petard and all that, but that's harsh. Man.
Just am so happy the boys are back, and being cute and self-referential and adorable (Dean banging the starlet! The trailer rocking!) and cute with their guns and their serious little emo faces. And next week oh my Christ can't fucking breathe, I mean it. This is going to be crazy payoff, yes? Yes.
