braaaaiiiinnsss!
Oct. 19th, 2004 12:44 am1. I love Professor Trelawney to itty, bitty bits.
2. The fact that
hp_bitextual is having a corset challenge squees me like you wouldn't believe, because corsets are so my sekrit kink and loads of corset!fic...the very idea is enough to make me squirm.
3. I believe that our dining hall staff is trying to kill us. No, really.
4. I am so utterly in love that I don't think it ought to be allowed.
5. I hate ancient Greek participles with an almighty and unnatural passion.
6. I really want to write, but when presented with a blank piece of paper or Word document my brain promptly leaves the building, and I am left feeling longing and oddly squishy in a not-entirely-good sort of way.
7. ...I miss the
shoebox_project.
8. I also feel like I ought to be doing some sort of iconic college-student thing, like getting wildly drunk and streaking or making out with everybody in a room or...I don't know, all the stuff that they always do in the movies. And I feel rather pathetic for not doing any of that sort of thing.
9. LOLITA!!!! I finally got round to reading it, and did so in the space of a single afternoon. It was one of those possession things where you can't talk or eat or wak in a straight line because you have to have to have to read right now dammit! So I finished it in record time and am now so passionately in love with Nabokov's style that...that I don't know what, but it is passionate. Very passionate. Yeah.
10. I am arguably quite, quite mad.
