it's really hitting me now. & it sucks living in a world constantly on the brink of precipice. I think more and more about climate change as the backdrop for everything sliding sideways these days; what do we know, at a biological level, about the apocalypse that's come? What do we do to ourselves in order to silence that knowledge and just go on with each day?

eta: coping by socializing new batch of foster kittens. healthy calico ladies, none of them quite sure about domestication yet but all are settling in nicely, given that they've only been in a week.
