I'm fucking horrified by the disunified shame-and-gossip show being put on by my political party at the moment. I'll vote blue no matter who, I'll do GOTV, you guys tell me where to show up and I'll do it. Defeating Trump means being a team player. I have no ego in this, no need to be right.

But for fuck's sake, shivving each other in public while the press rubs their grubby little hands over the new "Democrats in disarray" storyline is not how anything should be done. And no one is putting out practical plans. It's all just whispers and rumors, wishcasting and argufying.

We're trashing ourselves, and they can all see us. Why??????? Is the republic really this decayed? Is it climate change, making all mad as the world cooks? It feels apocalyptic in a way that I, and my remaining mental health, really do not appreciate.
