Is To Kill a Mockingbird any good? I keep hearing it mentioned, but I don't actually know what it's about.

Also, much love for your music. I could keep listening to Simon & Garfunkel for ever and ever... :)

Oh my god, it's so good. I've read it at least one a year since I was ten, and I've yet to get tired of it.

It's about a little girl growing up in the deep south, a little white girl named Scout. Her father Atticus is a lawyer, and he takes a case wherein a black man is accused of raping a white woman. He's innocent, and Atticus proves it, but he's convicted anyway.

But there's way more to it than the trial. It's one of the greatest growning-up books ever, and Scout is awesome. I spose it's rather about her world, about that culture and that place.

I recommendn it more highly than anything except Lord of the Rings, which is my own. No, maybe I recommend it even more highly than that. I love this books sooooo much.

I think I've got a goal for my expedition to the library tomorrow! :) Sounds like a great book.
