So, have finally seen GoF. Yes, I do in fact live under a rock, which is very pretty and sparkly. Like this movie. Mmmm, pretty. Yes. There is a reason why I should not see these things with my bitty cousins, who kept giving me strange looks as I desperately restrained myself from leaping bodily at Cedric, Viktor, Snape, Ron, Cedric, Fleur, the Weasley Twins, Cedric, Barty Crouch, and also, did I mention Snape? Yes. Sooooo much with the pretty.
things which are happy:
* Ron! Oh dear god, baby, I love you so much!
* Evil!Dumbles. I knew it. Such a hypocrit w/Cedric's eulogy, omg.
* The sheer prettiness of this movie. Oh my, was this thing well-designed. Good design is, in fact, everything.
* Neville! With the waltzing! And the Herbology! And the...the...the...the totally having sex with Giiny Weasley! So much love!
* Rita Skeeter. Call me, baby.
* Truest, truest love for Snape. Yay Snape.
* And also for all the assorted boycandy. We love you, darlings.
Things which are sad:
* Emma Watson. Someone please get the child some acting lessons, and tell her that the flirting with the camera is really quite enough, thanks very much, and then instruct her in the nuances of this thing that acting folk call by the arcane name of "staying in character."
* The dragon going all apesnit on Hogwarts. OTT, peoples.
* Not enough Snape. No such thing as enough Snape, but whatever.
* the absence of Nircissa, Pansy, Bellatrix, and Sirius from this film. Bah, filmmakers. Bah.
Okay, now where's my Narnia?

Date: 2005-12-06 06:48 pm (UTC)Was I the only one who laughed at that? It just went on so long... 'To a boy who was brave...and kind...and loyal...and smart...I don't recall ever speaking to him, and I can't really remember his name; but hey, I make it a policy not to talk to students other than Harry.'
