I needz stuff - next week I'm teaching my freshman an essay on camp that uses Batman as a primary instance, mostly older comics and the Adam West series. Can any of y'all recommend images/videos for me to show the brats? They're the Nolan Generation, and most of them have never seen a Robin. I've got a few panels - the best one is the "Robin, what have I done?!" - but I'd rather have more stuff than less, and I know some of you actually, yanno, read comics. Unlike me. Erm.

I'm dubious about providing links to silly, dubious comics. It always makes me want to go, "It's an art form and a legitimate storytelling medium, I swear! Please stop looking at terrible covers from the Silver Age and give Astro City a read!"

I know - but I've been beating them over the head with bell hooks for the last two weeks, and they're in need of a giggle break. FWIW, it seems like they know more of the legit medium stuff than the silly comics - last semester I got v. puzzled looks at the suggestion that Batman could be extremely silly and kinda gay.
