Two things:
* I may possibly be willing to forgive/like Gaius now. Provided he stops being dreadful about Morgana's magic. But that was quite an act of atonement, nobly borne.
* Arthur totally knows about Merlin. Not consciously, but beneath the surface. He knows enough to not let himself know, to ignore that there's anything there to know. The way he always steps in when Merlin could give himself away, the way he underplays and obfuscates - he totally, totally knows.
