lotesseI'm feeling increasingly frustrated with my theater work. I'm prepping a monologue--Viola from "Twelvth Night," "I had a sister lov'd a man"--and I just. I can tell that I'm over-intellectualizing it, but classes keep being about archetypes and class and scansion, and we've yet to do any hands-on work at all.
It doesn't help matters that I have no space to go and work and move and speak except my dorm, which is titchy. I love it, but it's not a very good rehearsal hall. I'd go outside, but I'd feel too self-conscious.
Also, I have a paper due in three days that I've suddenly lost the ability to write. Ack.
