Listening to Bernie Sanders calling Hillary Clinton "unqualified" to be President is - like absorbing a body blow. Wow. How many times - how many men - to me, personally, to my face, like this is to hers -
I'm reminded of Twisty Faster's old IBTP tag, "men hate you."

But I thought Bernie was filling an important role in the race. He's pushed income inequality into the conversation and pulled her (slightly) to the left. There's a place for ideals in the rhetoric. But things like saying she's unqualified and that her ambition is going to destroy the Democratic Party? Shaking his finger in her face? It does feel like being slapped out of nowhere.
Someone like Trump is mind-meltingly awful, but at least you know what to expect. This feels more like betrayal.
