but that's what I mean - even when the stories haven't stood the test of time so to speak, when the style is obviously dated and the gender theory is a bit wonkus, there's something gorgeous about the sense of something emerging there. you can tell that the writers were invested, deeply, and you get to watch them thinking hard and innovating like crazy and reaching toward new expressions of erotic self-identity.
