I ... um, mostly love all of this (somebody gets it! yes!). Luke needs cuddling! And the OT3 of Most Obvious Subtext Ever, and God, SKYWALKERS, anyway is pretty much the best summary of the whole saga ever. I'd love to see Han and Luke talking about Things. (Han-Leia too -- I think there's a lot that Luke and Leia might not be able to say directly to each other. But definitely Han and Luke.)

I honestly never thought of the issue with the Jedi Order -- as exclusively in the OT, I mean. I think Luke is fully committed to the Jedi Order, but hopefully to something more than recreating their Order.
