Dec. 20th, 2021 05:02 pmCovid and my holidays:
-Mother and I, with sorrow, canceled travel plans for this week last Saturday
-My cousins, one of whom lives with my sister, tested positive on Sunday
-I'm hunkering, going back to grocery delivery, & B is only going to school for one last hour tomorrow to finish a final before holiday break, we kept him out today since it's just class parties
-I'm not even *trying* A to let me see the baby more anymore
Hopefully this wave passes and, when spring comes, I can go back to going home, seeing fam, ect. If it's just for a few weeks, I can do it all again no problem. If things don't open up again, though, I'm going to have to cope with some grief and frustration.
