Marginalia
Feb. 7th, 2007 01:30 pmI need some magazines--I have decided that the family are getting valentines this year, and I think collage art is my poison of choice. Of course, no one here in Illiterate Illinois sells magazines. Seriously, I think I have to take the bus out to the mall for them. Absolutely ridiculous.
I have to watch Silence of the Lambs for class tonight, and I really don't want to. I'm still feeling all sopppy about Elizabeth Barrett Browning and her romance-by-poetry. Oh well, I shall sit in the back and write fic. Not that I don't usually. When else is a girl supposed to get this stuff done?
It might have been just a little bit warmer today. Aslan be thanked. Winter is far less fun away from home. I haven't gt any of my skiing stuff, nor anywhere to ski. No skating, no hills for sledding, and the snow's been too frozen for decent packing. I'm starting to feel ready for spring, which is stupid of me. I know very well that it shan't be spring for a long time. But when it is, I'll get it twice--spring here comes about two weeks earlier than it does at home. So full spring here, and then going home to it just beginning once again.
Someone mentioned Frodo and Sam on one of the blogs I read, and now I'm all snuffy about them again. Seriously, they can break my heart in less time than it takes to say, "But I can carry you and It as well." Just. sniff. sob.
Supernatural tomorrow. It's going to kill me. I can feel it, waiting to rip my heart to little achy shreds. Oh, show.
