Yay! Just sent off my absentee ballot in express mail. I was so worried that I wouldn't be able to vote--the county clerk messed up on sending my ballot. I only got it this afternoon, and I was starting to think that I wouldn't get it at all. My da is very active in local politics, and it wouldn't be the first time that someone in my family got screwed over by the Good Ol Boys Network.

So that's one more Democratic vote in Michigan.

Even if the ads are dumb about it, voting really is sexy.

Please, anyone who reads this who wasn't already planning to vote: please go to the polls tomorrow. Right now it really matters. We have a chance to make things better, to undo some of the damage that has ben done. But even if we didn't, voting is not a privilege. Voting is a DUTY.
