Every year, the darkness catches me off-guard. It takes me about a week to realize, "I'm really depressed," and then a while after that to realize why: I haven't seen the sun for weeks. It could be worse. at home it's sleeting.

I feel a little bit overwhelmed with work right now; I'm starting to think about grad school, and it scares the shit out of me. No one in my family's ever gone before, so we don't really know how to go about it.

I want to watch Edward Scissorhands, but we only have it on laserdisk and all the laserdisks are back home.
