It can't be summer all ready, but here at least it is. The sunshine makes me restless. The leaves are still noticeably absent, and the water is dirty and brackish, not at all like my own lake. And my boy is still very far away. Living alone is one thing in the winter, but all this warmth and renewal makes it nigh unbearable.

Damn Aristotle anyway.
