I have this problem where I kind of really like the style of fashion photography - color, shape, light, contrast - but I hate what it does in the real world in terms of normalizing extreme thinness. So whenever I find shoots of even average-sized women, it gives me a happy.
(Honestly, for this icon set there was also a practical side, because it's pretty hard to find public domain photos of actually fat bodies - the only images I can think of are bloggers/activists, and I didn't want to appropriate their images.)
