Hrm, I think we're opposite twins! because I read JE at 16, and still lurve it with a fanatical lurve. Austen I'm only just now beginning to like, probably as a function of adulthood - but I suspect that I will always prefer the glorious rages of my Brontes to the restrained satire in Austen.
