I love stormy weather. My daddy the sailor taught me how to read real weather maps when I was little, how to understand all the meteorological jargon, showed me where to look for the real NOAA weather reports and not the cable b.s. Right now I'm watching a mother of a storm roll in, and it makes me all excited and breathless.

Wild nights are my glory, though this is putting a crimp in my plans to ride my bike to the supermarket tonight. Alas, grocery shopping will have to wait till the morning.
