Oh my god, I'm so tired. Today was supposed to be my day off, but instead I picked up a bussing/hostessing shift. Grr Fourth of July Weekend, with the making me work. I felt like Dante from Clerks - "I'm not even supposed to be here today."

Speaking of Clerks, I just realized something last night while watching the animated series. For a while now, The Boy and I have been playing a game that goes like, "you're a {whatever noun or phrase it was that ended the last person's remarks}," and it was a very silly part of our rather labyrinthine personal language, and we had no idea where it came from. It does, in fact, come from Clerks the Animated Series: British Man: [asking for cigarettes] Pack of fags. Randal : You're a fag. British Man: It's a cigarette, mate. Randal: I'm not your mate, fag. Dante : Boy, it wasn't until years later that we found out what "fag" REALLY meant. Right, "mate"? Randal: You're a fag. Dante : No, a fag's a cigarette, remember? Randal: You're a cigarette.
