Sep. 12th, 2005 06:35 pmFigured out what's wrong with the computer--one of the wires in my ethernet port is bent. So, the baby is coming on a bike ride with me tomorrow afternoon to get fixed up.
This whole thing is really driving me crazy, because I'm feeling wildly fannish and want to download and upload and icon and and yeah. But hopefully I'll have access by tomorrow night. I rilly rilly need it.
But thankfully my coursework is so deliriously wonderful that it's taking my mind off fannish things--or not. It's strange. This is the first time in my life that I've ever gotten to do nothing but what I love. There's always been this big heavy line between work and play. But now, school is all fannish and political and metatextual, and I'm getting nearly everything there that I've always turned to the nets for.
Which is all well and good, but still doesn't do much to satisfy the iconning itch.
Still, this week has felt like coming home, which is wonderful. I had begun to think that I didn't have one.
