I hear you on all of this! I don't find that work prevents me, but ... saying nothing so often feels like the sensible course of action! I do also lament the loss of those interstitial times of day when one could craft with ease. I used to handwrite so much of my creative and personal thoughts, and now I'm always at my keyboard, without the open space of blank page & idle pen.
