I like your interpretation of the archiving of these interactions. Personally, I use the easily forgettable Discord chats as fuel for when I want to write about something in-depth.

Something I've been saying for a while is BRING BACK FORUMS! They're so much more community-focused and there's one out there for pretty much anything.
