I think because the more people started using the same few platforms, the faster things started moving. I don't really long-form blog much about fandom stuff; I'm more likely to join chatrooms or Discord servers for discussions. However, the idea of people migrating back to smaller and more specific communities is getting me excited for meta-posting to make a comeback.
